WASHINGTON (DC News Now) — The DMV will have two student-athletes representing the area at the McDonald’s All American basketball games in Brooklyn, New York on Tuesday April 1st.
Bullis 7-foot center Eric Reibe will play for the East squad on the boys’ side. Reibe signed with UConn over Kentucky, North Carolina, Kansas and others, and was 22nd on ESPN’s top 100 prospects for the class of 2025.
On the girls’ side, Bishop Ireton guard Nyla Brooks will play for the east team. Brooks has signed to play with North Carolina next season. She has been named first team WCAC three times so far during her high school career. Brooks was also named the Virginia Independent Schools Athletics Association player of the year last year.
