One person was killed and another was injured, according to police.
HOUSTON — We’re following breaking news out of southeast Houston, where one person was killed and another was injured Thursday afternoon.
The call came in at 3:55 p.m. Police say one person was dead at the scene and the other was hurt near Great Hawk Lane and Blackhawk Ridge Lane.
Houston police homicide detectives responded to the scene.
The intersection were the shooting happened is near a neighborhood park with a playground and splashpad. It’s about 500 yards from the back of J. Frank Dobie High School 9th Grade Center.
