Celebrity momager Kris Jenner has reportedly set her sights on Robert Irwin as the ‘next young talent to take under her wing’.
Robert, who attended the annual Steve Irwin Gala in Las Vegas alongside his mother Terri on Sunday, is said to have impressed Kris so much that she wants to represent him professionally to help further his career.
However, Terri, 61, reportedly has reservations about Robert, 22, working with the matriarch of the Kardashian clan because she doesn’t want him to become tabloid fodder.
‘Kris is a master at spotting talent and turning it into global empires, so it’s hard for Terri to complain. But she’s worried – history hasn’t been kind to the men who get involved with the Kardashians,’ an insider claimed in this week’s Woman’s Day magazine.
According to the publication, the Keeping Up with the Kardashians star is impressed by Robert’s ‘incredibly telegenic, wholesome and authentic’ nature.
‘Kris can see Robert becoming a major multiplatform star, starting with an upgraded version of Crikey! It’s the Irwins. She envisions major product lines, partnerships with National Geographic, even luxury watch brands,’ the source continued.

The report went on to claim that although Terri recognised Kris had enormous opportunities for Robert, the Irwin matriarch wasn’t sure if she liked the direction they would take.
‘It will ultimately be up to Robert, but Terri can see their entire family being wrapped up in a reality TV show because of Kris,’ the source added.
‘She knows that’s not something daughter Bindi and husband Chandler would want for their five-year-old daughter Grace.’
Kris has long managed the careers of her reality star daughters Kim, Kourtney and Khloe Kardashian, and Kendall and Kylie Jenner, helping turn them into household names.
Meanwhile, Terri and Robert Irwin were front and centre as they attended the Steve Irwin Gala in Las Vegas on Sunday – but there was a very noticeable family absence.
While the mother and son proudly led the family charge at the exclusive event, fans were asking where Bindi Irwin and her husband Chandler Powell were.
The annual event, held in honour of the late Wildlife Warrior Steve Irwin, is typically a full family affair, with Bindi attending alongside her mother and brother in previous years.
But this time around, Bindi was nowhere to be seen.

Instead, Robert and Terri took centre stage, posing for photos and greeting guests alongside Robert’s Dancing with the Stars partner Witney Carson and Australian TV presenter Rove McManus.
Robert looked dashing in a tailored suit as he continues to ride a wave of global attention following his victory on last year’s Dancing with the Stars US.
Terri confirmed her daughter didn’t attend the annual bash because she still finds travelling challenging amid her endometriosis battle.
She said Bindi was back at home Down Under looking after the family’s Australia Zoo.
‘Bindi is doing so much better now,’ Terri told E! News.
‘So, things like a lot of travel are a bit challenging for her at the moment and she’ll be here next year to celebrate this wonderful night.’
‘This year she’s just staying a little close to home. So, ironically, it’s less taxing for her to be home feeding crocodiles.’
‘You gotta remember [in] Australia Zoo there’s 500 in our team,’ Robert added.
‘There’s about 500,000 acres of conservation land that we have. Someone’s got to hold down the fort. So, Bindi’s doing a great job at that.’
Bindi was also forced to skip the gala last year after undergoing an emergency appendectomy just hours before touching down in Vegas for the event.
