Tones and I, real name Toni Watson, has been dealt another blow following reports she had split from her partner of six years, Jimmy Bedford.
Reports have now emerged the Australian singer, 32, has been hit with a tax debt of more than $400,000 by the Australian Taxation Office, according to the Herald Sun.
Court documents reveal the ATO has launched legal action in Victoria’s County Court to recover the outstanding amount from the Dance Monkey hitmaker.
As of April 20, Watson is said to owe $432,797.27 in unpaid taxes.
The deputy commissioner of taxation claimed in a writ filed this week that the debt relates to ‘BAS provisions and administrative penalties’.
‘The defendant is liable to pay the amount of $432,797.27 to the Commonwealth of Australia,’ the document said.

It also claimed Watson is ‘liable to pay the general interest charge for each day at the end of which there was an RBA deficit debt’.
BAS provisions can relate to GST, the PAYG withholding tax and fringe benefits tax.
The Mt Eliza address for her company Johnny Run Away Investments, which is the title of her debut album, has also been listed in the court documents.
Daily Mail has reached out to representatives of Watson for comment.
It comes following reports the singer-songwriter has split from her husband Bedford after almost three years of marriage.
The notoriously private singer appeared to have quietly parted ways with her partner in a typically low‑key fashion.
The pop star tied the knot with the footballer in a secret ceremony in Indonesia in March 2023.
However, their third wedding anniversary passed in March without any kind of public acknowledgement.

In another telling sign, Watson has deleted the Instagram post she dedicated to Bedford last year on their second anniversary.
At the time, she shared a photo of the pair looking loved up in a hotel room as she clutched a bouquet of flowers and looked at her husband adoringly.
‘Two years married to the GOAT,’ she captioned the images.
While the post remains up on her Facebook page, it seemed she has wiped it from her Instagram account.
A glance at their social media also revealed the couple had unfollowed each other.
The pair tied the knot in Bali three years ago, with the hitmaker sharing the news with her social media followers at the time.
‘Well, we weren’t planning on spreading the news until after the single dropped but I MARRIED my best friend,’ she wrote on Instagram after the big day.
Watson had announced her engagement to Bedford in January 2021.
She shared a photo of the pair kissing as she showed off her diamond sparkler.
In her caption, Watson simply added a ring emoji and tagged Bedford, whom she had been dating for two years by that point.
Bedford – known to friends as ‘Bedders’ – is a former bricklayer and player for Victorian football team Frankston Bombers.
For the duration of his relationship with Watson, Bedford had followed the musician around the world on tour, working as her stage technician.
