A teen died after being ejected during a high-speed crash in Greenspoint, where a car ran a stop sign and collided with another vehicle, according to HCSO.

HARRIS COUNTY, Texas — A teen died after being ejected from a vehicle during a crash in the Greenspoint area Wednesday night, according to Sheriff Ed Gonzalez.

The Harris County Vehicular Crimes Division responded to the crash on Richcrest Drive near the West Hardy Toll Road.

According to Gonzalez, a vehicle carrying multiple teenagers reportedly ran a stop sign at high speed and collided with another car occupied by a single person.

One of the teens from the suspected at-fault vehicle was ejected during the crash and died at the scene. It is unclear if the teen was the driver, and information about additional injuries has not been released.

This is a developing situation, and we’re sending a crew to the scene to gather more details. When we learn more, we’ll add the updates to this article.
