FIRE and heavy smoke were reported at a high-rise building in Manhattan Tuesday morning, near the route of the St. Patrick’s Day Parade.
The parade, which is expected to start around 11am Tuesday, brings in millions of onlookers.

Videos and photos of the scene show thick clouds of smoke billowing out of a building near Madison Avenue and East 43rd Street.
The New York City Fire Department (FDNY) told The U.S. Sun that there is a fire inside the HVAC system of a high-rise commercial building.
The fire was reported at 6 East 43rd Street.
Officials did not yet have information about how the fire will impact the parade’s start.
