THIS is the harrowing moment a cleaner pours toxic chemicals into her new colleague’s tea as she is caught on camera in a workplace poison plot.
Chilling footage shows the woman browsing a cleaning shelf and picking out a bright green bottle of chemicals.
She then sprays the toxic substance into a tea cup, mixing it into the tea.
Footage shows the woman appearing to wipe her fingerprints off a teaspoon, and repeats the poisoning over and over again.
The woman, Małgorzata W., 56, was given a six year prison sentence today in Poland and slapped with a huge fine.
Her victim, a 51-year-old co-worker, suspected something was wrong when her unattended drinks starting changing colour and tasting strange.
Repeated poisoning left Małgorzata’s colleague with sever internal burns.
Realising something was wrong, she set up a hidden camera to catch Małgorzata in the act.
Chilling CCTV footage shows how Małgorzata was caught red-handed.
The poison plotter was found guilty last week of attempting to cause serious bodily harm.
Judges at Warsaw’s district court found that she had secretly laced her collegues drinks with chemicals over a six-week period.
The twisted poison plot unfolded between November 15 and December, 27, 2024.
After the co-worker drank the tainted tea, she suffered a series of disturbing symptoms.
They included stomach pain, breathing difficulties, a burning sensation in her throat and fainting.
Doctors later said she had suffered serious internal chemical burns, affecting the mucous membranes of her mouth, oesophagus and stomach.
Tests confirmed that cleaning products and other detergents had been added to the teas.
Experts warned that the consequences of drinking such dangerous chemicals could have been fatal.
In one recording, the poisoner can be heard chatting on the phone to a friend, telling her ominously: “The tea is standing there, so you know what that means.”
Moments later, Małgorzata adds a toxic substance to her colleague’s drink.
Another woman, Elzbieta D, was aquitted after prosecutors claimed she knew about the poison plot but did not raise the alarm.
Investigators said the women worked for a cleaning company servicing a Polish Radio building on Mysliwiecka Street in Warsaw.
They said tensions grew after the victim began pointing out the poisoner’s mistakes at work.
