Taco Bell unveils new menu items for 2026, including permanent Nacho Fries

WASHINGTON — Taco Bell unveiled more than 20 new menu items coming this year during its annual Live Más Live gala on Tuesday. 

The event, hosted at the Hollywood Palladium in Los Angeles, featured appearances and performances by Ariana Madix, Benson Boone, Doja Cat, Demi Lovato, Peso Pluma and Fernando Mendoza. The new menu highlights include Diablo Dusted Crispy Chicken Nuggets, Creme Brulee Crunchwrap Sliders and a Mountain Dew Baja Midnight Pie. 

The Mountain Dew Baja Midnight Pie marks the return of the popular dessert that Taco Bell first introduced last year. The new  additions will also cement a permanent spot on the Taco Bell menu for the Nacho Fries, a first for the brand. 

Here’s what’s coming at Taco Bell this year. 

Nacho Fries — After years of limited-time runs, Nacho Fries will permanently join the menu later this year.

Flamin’ Hot Nacho Fries — The classic seasoned fries served with Flamin’ Hot Nacho Cheese dipping sauce.

Diablo Dusted — Crispy white-meat nuggets coated in Diablo seasoning.

Doritos Cool Ranch Dusted — Nuggets dusted in Cool Ranch seasoning with a matching dipping sauce.

Flamin’ Hot Dusted — Nuggets with Flamin’ Hot seasoning and slow-building heat.

Cheesy G Sliders — Flatbreads with fried white-corn shells, three cheeses, pico de gallo and chipotle sauce. Available with steak or chicken.

Cantina Chicken Mexican Pizza — Slow-roasted chicken and black beans between crispy tortillas, served with Jalapeño Citrus Salsa and Avocado Verde Salsa.

Mexican Pizza Empanadas — Bite-sized empanadas filled with seasoned beef and three-cheese blend, served with Mexican Pizza dipping sauce.

Flamin’ Hot Mini Taco Salad — Seasoned beef, Fritos Flamin’ Hot chips, and refried beans in a tortilla bowl rimmed with Flamin’ Hot seasoning.

Firecracker Burrito — Red tortilla filled with rice, seasoned beef, Nacho Cheese sauce and cayenne poppin’ crystals.

Queso Cracked Cantina Bowl — Rice, slow-roasted chicken, black beans and veggies topped with a crackable cheddar cheese layer.

Crème Brulee Crunchwrap Slider — Vanilla filling and cinnamon sugar tostada in a grilled, caramelized tortilla.

Mountain Dew Baja Midnight Pie — Passionfruit-flavored pie, following last year’s Baja Blast Pie debut.

Milk Bar Birthday Cake Empanada — Empanada filled with birthday cake batter, topped with pink frosting and sprinkles.

Chocolate Fudge & Caramel Empanadas — One of each flavor per order. The empanadas are the only item already available nationwide.

Strawberry & Cream Mexican Pizza Bite — Tostada with cheesecake filling, macerated strawberries and white chocolate shavings.

Mountain Dew Baja Midnight — Passionfruit and tropical lime flavor.

Mountain Dew Baja Midnight Zero — Same flavor, zero sugar.

Strawberry Horchata Refresca — Cinnamon-vanilla horchata with strawberry syrup and freeze-dried strawberry pieces.

Cold Brew with Purple Horchata Cold Foam — Cold brew topped with cinnamon-vanilla cold foam.

Salt & Straw Tacolate Chiller — A blended, sippable version of the 2025 Tacolate.
