A SHOCKING video has shown a Brit’s lucky escape in Dubai after a drone smashed into his apartment during an Iranian attack.
Tehran has launched revenge strikes across the Middle East after joint US-Israeli strikes killed its Supreme Leader on Saturday.
In astonishing footage posted to social media, a man with a British accent shows the damage done to his sky-rise apartment after it was struck by a drone.
Sounding shaken, the man showed viewers his living room with broken furniture and shattered glass strewn across the floor.
He said: “No joking guys, we have just been hit by a drone.
“We heard it coming, it stinks of oil in here. I didn’t even finish my cuppa tea.”
He simply ended the video by saying: “We’re off.”
The man added that the flat was located on the 19th floor of the Warda luxury apartment complex in Town Square development.
Dubai has been rocked by more blasts in recent days as Iran unleashes a savage revenge blitz on the tourist hotspots airports and hotels.
Iran has vowed to launch its “most intense offensive operation” ever in retaliation, targeting Israeli and American bases with “regret-inducing punishment”.

While black smoke was seen billowing across the skyline in Dubai after the luxury hotel Fairmont The Palm was struck.
Shocking footage showed what appeared to be a kamikaze drone smashing into the hotel in the plush Palm Jumeirah district – although conflicting reports suggested it may have been hit by missile debris.
Elsewhere, holidaymakers in Abu Dhabi, the capital of the UAE, described hearing a series of loud explosions, while hotel staff distributed free ice lollies to help keep guests calm.
Smoke was seen rising from Dubai International Airport on Sunday morning as Iran appeared to attack the airport for a second day.
The world’s busiest international hub, which sees around a quarter of a million passengers pass through each day, has halted flights until “further notice”.
While one person died and seven were left injured at an Abu Dhabi airport.
Both airports were struck after Iran launched a barrage of rockets at nations across the region.
Smoke was also spotted billowing from Jebel Ali port, where US naval assets had gathered in recent weeks.
Peter, a Brit finance executive in his 50s who re-located to Dubai last year, described the situation as “completely surreal”.
He told The Sun: “We heard several loud explosions overnight and early this morning and a couple mid-afternoon.”
Evacuation plans are currently underway as thousands of stranded Brits in the Gulf look for a way home following attacks on Iran.
Seventy-six thousand nationals in the region have registered their presence with the government in the aftermath of Donald Trump‘s military action.
Whitehall staff are working round-the-clock to bring them home with all options currently on the table, including evacuations.
Brits are currently being told to stay where they are as Ministers’ plans are hamstrung by air space being closed.
British nationals who are in countries including Bahrain, Israel and the United Arab Emirates have been invited to let the government their location.
