A PHOTO has gone viral on Twitter after leaving many people puzzled.
With more than 24 million views, X users couldn’t work out what they were looking at.
The picture was originally posted on February 2022 before being retweeted by a confused viewer searching for answers.
On first look, the photo appears to show someone’s neck wearing a cream v-neck t-shirt and a black leather necklace.
The user caused the optical illusion to go viral on social media, saying: “Thought this was a scarily skinny and hairy neck.”
Others discussed the picture in the comments, sharing how baffled they were by the deceptive image.

One said: “I still can’t tell what part of the body I am looking at.”
Another added: “I literally had to stare at this for a solid minute to realise it wasn’t a neck.”
Many implored those who had worked it out to share the answer, with one person asking: “I still have a hard time knowing what this is! Can anyone help?”
Eventually one kindly user posted what they claim is the original picture to reveal the truth behind the accidental optical illusion.
The picture is in fact a close up of a man’s hand inside a trouser pocket.
