THIS is the shocking moment a Twitch star severs multiple fingers after trying to catch a katana with her bare hands mid-stream.
Bisscute, 29, was showing off the extremely sharp sword to her legion of fans when the blade suddenly slipped out of its sheath – only for her to instinctively reach out to grab it.
The Romanian-born content creator managed to wrap her hand around the blade’s edge before letting out an excruciating scream.
She ran off in pain, leaving her Twitch viewers concerned for her health after the scary catch.
The Japanese katana is designed to slice through flesh and bone and is widely considered among the sharpest swords available to buy.
Bisscute returned after a few seconds with a tissue pressed against her hand before she ended the stream and immediately went to the hospital.
After a few hours, she updated her tens of thousands of followers on the severity of her injuries.
She said: “Update, I cut two tendons and I need an operation. Probably next week.
“Right now I’m waiting on the cast and some blood work. I feel fine so no worries.”
Doctors said surgery on her middle and ring fingers was needed to repair the severed tendons.
Hours later, Bisscute shared another update as she shared a photo of her bandaged up hand to her 48,000 Instagram followers.
She captioned the image: “Back in the office long live painkillers and determination.”
Bisscute was holding up the katana as she was talking to her fans about a new set she was creating.
The sword was going to sit in the background in her future streams.
Bisscute found fame through social media as she would regularly react to popular videos online.
Her most popular platform is YouTube, where she has over 448,000 followers.
Many of the videos are reuploads from her Twitch streams where she watches the latest music videos, TV clips or trending moments.
Her most viewed video of all time is of her crying while watching the band Avenged Sevenfold’s music video for So Far Away in 2022.
It comes just months after another Twitch star made headlines after she live streamed giving birth in front of thousands of her fans.
In what is believed to be the first ever birth livestreamed on the platform, the content creator was recorded huffing and puffing in agony as she delivered the tot.
