Tallia Storm has spoken out following Brooklyn Beckham‘s explosive comments on his family, making it clear she was firmly ‘Team Brooklyn’.
The singer, 27, has long maintained that she and Brooklyn, now 26, were romantically involved as teenagers back in 2014 – a claim he has previously denied.
Ten years after their ‘breakup’, the Celebs Go Dating star has now claimed that Victoria Beckham never warmed to her, despite Tallia having described Brooklyn as her ‘first love.’
Recalling a particular incident, Tallia said the pair had planned to attend the Global Gift Gala, an event hosted by actress Eva Longoria, who is a close friend of Victoria’s.
However, the night reportedly took an unexpected turn.
Tallia explained: ‘I was meant to sit next to Brooklyn, we were all super excited – and then he messaged me on the night itself, when I was already inside, saying, “my mum won’t let me come, I’m sorry.”

Tallia added to the Mirror, ‘Obviously, Victoria didn’t like me or whatever.’
She also opened up about the first time she and Brooklyn were photographed together, marking their first public ‘relationship’.
Tallia, who became known as Elton John’s protégé after he discovered her at age 13, revealed she was scheduled to perform at a concert when Victoria allegedly insisted on sending a security team to assess the venue.
According to Tallia, shortly after leaving the venue with the security team, they were confronted by a swarm of paparazzi.
She further alleged that her mother, branding and PR specialist Tessa Hartmann CBE, made enquiries and was told that Victoria’s team had informed the paparazzi of their location.
Tallia believes that her association with Brooklyn at such an early stage has followed her throughout her career, often leading to damaging assumptions about her motivations.
Reflecting on how the relationship has shaped public perception of her, she explained it also made her look like a ‘fame-hungry wannabe’.
She said: ‘It’s like a bit of a sticky web and not something I ever want to engage in.’

Tallia’s comments follow on from Brooklyn launching an astonishing rant at his parents on Monday night.
He took to Instagram to share a six-page statement, where he said he has no wishes to reconcile with his family and is standing up for himself ‘for the first time in my life’, claiming his parents have ‘controlled narratives about our family’.
He also stated that ‘my parents have been trying endlessly to ruin my relationship (with wife Nicola Peltz) since before my wedding, and it hasn’t stopped’.
Brooklyn concluded: ‘My family values public promotion and endorsements above all else. Brand Beckham comes first.
‘Family ‘love’ is decided by how much you post on social media, or how quickly you drop everything to show up and pose for a family photo op even if it’s at the expense of our professional obligations.
‘The narrative that my wife controls me is completely backwards. I have been controlled by my parents for most of my life.
‘I grew up with overwhelming anxiety. For the first time in my life, since stepping away from my family, that anxiety has disappeared. I wake up every morning grateful for the life I chose, and have found peace and relief.
‘My wife and I do not want a life shaped by image, press, or manipulation. All we want peace, privacy and happiness for us and our future family.’

In 2018, Brooklyn, who was dating actress Chloe Grace Moretz at the time, said in an Instagram Live video that he wasn’t a ‘liar’ and insisted he had never been in a relationship with Tallia.
Commenting on his denial, the singer told the Daily Mail at the time: ‘I couldn’t be more angry.
‘It’s like he’s dumped me again! You dump me once, three years ago, and now you dump me again!’
‘Why does he feel the need to do it again three years later? Why is he bringing it back up again. It’s exhausting!’
Tallia was left fuming when she watched Brooklyn’s very public denial with the rest of his followers.
She explained: ‘I saw the video last night – you can tell he’s so bothered. So yeah, he was cooler than me back then. Now that I’m finally doing well, it’s an exciting time for me as I’m on television and I’m looking for love again, and he is bitter about it.
‘I feel like he knows my weakness because he knows all the songs I wrote were about him. It was my mistake to speak so openly about my heartache.’
She continued: ‘This proves he is just a boy and I am looking to date a man. I found it really hard to open up after what happened.’

The singer also divulged the intimate details about the supposed romance.
She gushed: ‘We dated, it was puppy like. We kept our love all very private. We were only spotted together once.
‘He came to see me perform. We kept it very private. It was real. We spent a lot of time together.
‘His dad used to drop him off at my house and I’d go to his. I have nothing but respect for his mum and dad.’
Discussing the end of their romance, she added: ‘It came to an end when I saw him in the papers with another girl. I was like, ‘Oh my goodness’.
Tallia channelled her heartbreak into songwriting and revealed that her single, Still In Love, is all about her ‘puppy love’ with Brooklyn.
Away from her alleged romance with Brooklyn, Tallia has been busy trying to break into Hollywood.
In January last year, she moved to Tinseltown for six months to shoot a top-secret big-budget limited series.
‘It’s a romcom and I feel like I’ll be playing myself. The filming is for six months, but the project is a year,’ she told The Sun at the time.

The pop star-turned-presenter has vowed to become a triple threat as she hopes to establish herself on screen.
In March 2024, Tallia announced that she was quitting her job on Capital Scotland, after joining the breakfast show in April the previous year.
When she joined the show alongside co-star Fat Brestovci for her first radio gig, she gushed it was a ‘dream come true’ and was delighted to return to Scotland.
Announcing her departure on Instagram, she wrote: ‘Best year of my life moving back to Scotland & waking up at 5am to host Scotland’s number 1 hit music station @CapitalScotland with my bestie, sarcastic, hilarious king for life @Fatpresenter.
‘Loved every minute of it but my loan period is up & I move back to London & have to say goodbye to my Scottish besties.
‘I’ve loved every minute of laughing, crying & celebrating with every one of YOU right here in Scotland.
‘Thank you for making my wildest dreams come true & letting me talk to you for 4 hours a day Monday – Friday!!!! Love you guys, there’s no place like Scotland!’
