RUSSIAN president Putin’s henchman has been rushed to hospital in Moscow.

It comes after Ramzan Kadyrov, 48, had begged the dictator to let him quit.

The 48-year-old “wardog” leads Chechnya, and has been accused of violating human rights, including involvement in kidnapping and torture.

Reports say he went to the Russian capital for a meeting of the State Council chaired by Putin.

But the Chechnya leader’s health deteriorated sharply, and he was taken by ambulance to the Central Clinical Hospital of the Presidential Administration of the Russian Federation.

Relations between Putin and Kadyrov soured after alleged secret meetings between Kadyrov and Middle Eastern officials.

Local media reported that the Chechen ruler began “unsanctioned discussions” with officials from several Middle Eastern countries about his assets and family’s future – without Moscow’s approval.

Earlier this year, the Chechnya leader was said to be “preparing to flee Russia” as he has put his son in charge of the police.
