THE parents of an eight-year-old girl are suing a private school over claims she was sexually assaulted in a so-called kissing club.
They claimed she was bullied and pressured by older girls in the school and slammed staffers for allegedly not taking strong enough action.

The parents said their daughter was left fearing for her safety as a result of the alleged sexual assault that unfolded at the Sierra Canyon school in Chatsworth, a Los Angeles suburb.
Students allegedly spied on the girl in the bathrooms, according to the lawsuit seen by the CW affiliate KTLA-TV.
The lawsuit claims younger students were forced into kissing and other sexual acts.
And, students were not supervised, according to the lawyer Sam Dordulian who unveiled the documents on Wednesday.
Staffers at Sierra Canyon school have been accused of covering up what allegedly happened, according to the lawsuit.
They have been accused of not reporting it to cops swiftly enough.
The girl’s mother blasted the alleged conduct of the school.
She said she first reported concerns in 2023 and claimed nothing was done.
“As a mother, the feeling of being hopeless and not being able to protect my child from this harm that 100% could have been avoided is crushing,” she said in a press conference.
“My focus is on the systems and the safeguards that have failed to protect my child.”
The girl’s parents revealed they withdrew her from the school.
And, the alleged leader of the so-called kissing club doesn’t attend the school any more, according to the lawsuit.
The U.S. Sun has approached Sierra Canyon school for comment.
School bosses have not yet commented on the lawsuit.
Sierra Canyon, which was founded in 1978, offers tuition for pre-kindergarten children to students in the 12th grade.
Pre-kindergarten tuition for this academic year costs $27,500.
But, tuition for students in the ninth to 12th grade costs $46,300.
