A BRUISER cat has been reported to police for attacking other moggies and damaging homes on a posh estate.
Elijah, two, has allegedly left at least four other cats needing a vet and neighbours are monitoring him through a WhatsApp group.
He has caused thousands of pounds damage scratching walls and carpets and spraying urine after reportedly sneaking into houses through open windows.
His owners tried in vain to impose a 7pm to 11pm curfew on the Bengal moggy, which is twice the size of a normal cat.
Neighbour Jonathan Booth, 64, a retired dad of three, said it did not work.
He said: “He makes our lives hell.
“If that cat was a person he’d be arrested.
“He got into our house and hunted down our cat on a landing.
“We daren’t open our windows now.”
Wife Philippa, 62, said: “He’s a predator, not a domestic cat. He needs to be kept indoors.”
Another neighbour in Newport Pagnell, Bucks, added: “He’s a brutal cat and I know he’d kill if he got the chance.
“I’ve not been on holiday all summer because I’m scared to leave my cats.”
Elija’s owners, Meta data chief Chaminga Chandratillake and wife Suraiya, say they have taken every step to try to resolve the problems, including speaking to cat behaviourists.
Elija now has a GPS tracker on his collar and, they said, was at home at the time of some incidents.
A police spokesman said: “We have taken appropriate action where any criminal offences have been identified.”
