A SWEDISH rapper has been named as the victim of a fatal broad-daylight shooting in the Costa del Sol.
Hamko, real name Hamza Karimi, 25, was smoking a cigarette outside a café when a gunman strolled from a van and blasted him at close range.
Police say they are investigating the possibility his killing was an execution linked with organised crime on the island.
A security camera captured the sequence of events which unfolded in Puerto Banus.
Footage shows a man in a baseball cap strolling out from behind a black van, possibly disguised as a tourist, and grabbing a gun from behind him.
He strolls over to the cafe terrace and blasts his victim, who had been standing smoking unawares, from close range.
Hamza, wearing a blue t-shirt, tucks and rolls in a desperate attempt to escape his ambusher.
But the assassin coldly walks along and fires off multiple further rounds at Hamza on the floor.
He picked a moment when the terrace was otherwise empty, but several tourists heard the shots ring out and dived for cover.
Hamza was rushed to a nearby hospital, but died hours later despite the efforts of medics to save his life.
Police confirmed the suspect had been arrested shortly after the shooting as they confirmed the death of the victim.
He was caught after witnesses recorded the number plate of his getaway vehicle and lockdown police roadblocks were set up.
Every available officer in the area was scrambled to the capture mission, coined Operation Cage.
