DONALD Trump says Hamas faces “complete obliteration” if the terror group refuses to give up power in Gaza.

The US President made the defiant claim on Saturday as his deadline for Hamas to accept the 20-point peace plan looms.

When asked what would happen if the terror group opted to stay in power, Trump told CNN: “Complete Obliteration!”

The Don was also pressed about critics who claim the deal has been effectively rejected by Hamas.

In response to the doubt cast on his plans, he said: “We will find out. Only time will tell!!!”

Trump also said that Benjamin Netanyahu was fully on board with his plans to stop bombing Gaza and seek a path to wider peace in the Middle East.

Expressing optimism for the latest plans, both the Israeli and American leader say they are hopeful the remaining hostages will be released in the coming days.

It comes after the US President announced Tel Aviv had agreed to the initial withdrawal line for the Israel Defense Forces outlined in the ceasefire plans.

Trump has also set a Sunday deadline for Hamas to agree to his deal to end the war in Gaza – warning “all hell” against the group if it does not accept.

He said on Truth Social: “After negotiations, Israel has agreed to the initial withdrawal line, which we have shown to, and shared with, Hamas.

“When Hamas confirms, the Ceasefire will be IMMEDIATELY effective, the Hostages and Prisoner Exchange will begin, and we will create the conditions for the next phase of withdrawal, which will bring us close to the end of this 3,000 YEAR CATASTROPHE.”

The Don also said Israel had agreed to halt strikes on Gaza as part of steps towards finalising the agreement.

Over Saturday night and on Sunday, Israel continued to strike Gaza, Reuters reported.

It comes after Trump reportedly told Netanyahu following Hamas accepting parts of the peace proposal on Friday: “You’re always so f***ing negative.”

After Hamas accepted some of the terms of the deal while seemingly ignoring others, Bibi said to Trump that it “doesn’t mean anything”.

According to Axios, Trump hit back at the Israeli PM and said: “I don’t know why you’re always so f***ing negative. This is a win. Take it.”

Hamas has accepted to release the 20 remaining hostages believed to be alive – in return for the IDF’s full withdrawal from Gaza.

But they have requested to negotiate several other aspects of the agreement.

Indirect negotiations between Hamas and Israel will begin on Monday to iron out disagreements in the deal.

Taking place in Egypt Trump envoys Steve Witkoff and Jared Kushner are expected to attend in coordinated push to get the Don’s deal done.
