A wildfire reported Monday evening in the hills above Jurupa Valley continues to burn Tuesday in Riverside County.
The blaze, dubbed the Pyrite Fire, was reported shortly before 8 p.m. near Granite Hill Drive and Pyrite Street.
As of early Tuesday morning, Cal Fire officials said the fire had burned 150 acres with zero percent containment.
Video showed the blaze burning in the hills behind homes and businesses, but officials have not issued any evacuation orders or warnings.
Twenty-one engines, two helicopters and two water tenders are among the resources assigned to fight the wildfire.
“Firefighters continue to establish and strengthen containment lines,” Cal Fire stated in its update on Tuesday.
No injuries have been reported in the incident.
