Police are searching for a motorist who struck and killed a pedestrian overnight in Hollywood.
The incident was reported around 9 p.m. on West Sunset Boulevard near North Sierra Bonita Avenue.
The suspect’s vehicle was traveling eastbound on Sunset when it collided with the 37-year-old woman, a Los Angeles Police Department spokesperson confirmed to KTLA.
The driver did not stop to render aid, but instead continued to drive southbound on Gardner, the spokesperson said.
The unidentified victim was pronounced dead at the scene.
The suspect’s vehicle was described as a G-Class Mercedes-Benz. No description of the driver was provided.
