At least one of the people detained at a Home Depot and transferred between federal agents at Dodger Stadium on Thursday is a U.S. citizen who has since been freed, L.A. Taco reports.

“L.A. TACO has confirmed that Job Garcia, the US citizen violently detained by ICE / CBP at the Home Depot raid in Hollywood and then transferred at Dodger Stadium was released this morning,” the outlet reported on social media.

The ongoing raids in Southern California are reportedly targeted undocumented immigrants, though there have been multiple instances of citizens swept up as suspected migrants and detained for attempting to stand up to federal agents.

The outcry over the immigration raids has extended to those seen as helping federal agents, with local law enforcement — who are barred by state law from assisting in immigration matters — targeted by angry Southern California residents who believe they’re working with ICE or other federal agencies.

Many are also angry at the Dodgers, as the team has not yet publicly stood up for immigrants. The team planned to do so Thursday but delayed their announcement after the visit by federal agents that morning, the team said.
