The Tesla driver who served prison time for several road rage attacks in Southern California has been attacked in a prison near Honolulu, where he was recently arrested for a similar attack.
According to the Hawaii Department of Corrections, 38-year-old Nathaniel Radimak suffered injuries to his face and torso on Monday, May 12, at the Halawa Correctional Facility, KTLA sister station KHON reports.
He was later taken to a hospital for treatment.
Radimak was charged with assault and unauthorized entry into a motor vehicle for the attack on two women in Honolulu.
The victim told KHON he allegedly attacked her and her daughter after the daughter yelled at him to slow down.
Surveillance video showed Radimak turning around, parking and approaching the driver’s side of the daughter’s car.
The victim said he then reached through the window and punched her daughter in the jaw area, then punched her in the eye after she threw coffee at him.
After the incident, Radimak fled the scene and was identified and arrested at a local apartment the next day.
According to police, Radimak has a history of violent road rage in California, including multiple convictions. In those attacks and in Hawaii, he is accused of targeting women.
Court records state he served only 10 months of a five-year sentence and somehow had his parole transferred from California to Hawaii.
