Mariah Carey and Anderson .Paak have been making music together.
The 39-year-old multihyphenate music artist revealed that he’s been collaborating with the 55-year-old singer — who recently mortified her teenage twins — during a Track Star interview.
A social media clip showed .Paak, born Brandon Paak Anderson, participating in a game series in which people on the street are quizzed on songs played by host Jack Coyne.
.Paak appeared in Friday’s edition, dressed in a Mariah Carey T-shirt, no less. At one point her 1995 song Always Be My Baby started playing, prompting the Silk Sonic singer to blush and laugh.
‘This would be Mariah Carey. The Mariah Carey,’ he answered before dishing, ‘I remember like, fifth grade or something, just watching the music video and having a huge crush.’
Asked if they would ever work on music together, the drummer revealed: ‘We’re working on some music. On her new album.’
Mariah and Anderson ignited dating rumors in December when they were seen holding hands in Aspen, Colorado.

The two music artists were also together in March and they were spotted hand-in-hand once again.
A source told Us Weekly that month, ‘Mariah and Anderson are dating, they met working last summer and he has always been a huge fan and looked up to her.’
The insider added, ‘Their dates have been very far apart because of schedules, but it’s been going on a few months.’
At the time, Anderson was said to be ‘very smitten’ with the iconic singer, who shares 13-year-old son Moroccan and daughter Monroe with ex-husband Nick Cannon.
The person close to the situation said the drummer ‘has really been keeping her attention and they are full on dating.’
‘Their relationship started in the studio as they were working on new music together and it quickly turned romantic,’ the source noted.
Beyond music, the twosome reportedly bonds over parenthood. Anderson is dad to sons Soul Rasheed, 14, and Shine Tariq, seven, with estranged wife Jaylyn Chang.
He filed for divorce from Chang in January 2024, after more than 13 years of marriage.
