Officers with the Los Angeles Police Department are tracking a motorist suspected of being armed with a gun, who was driving the wrong way on the 5 Freeway.
It’s unclear exactly where the pursuit started, but officer’s with LAPD’s Foothill Division were engaged in the chase of the suspect, reportedly behind the wheel of a red pickup truck.
Sky5 was over the scene as the suspect started driving without headlights the wrong way on the shoulder of the freeway before getting off the freeway onto Laurel Canyon Boulevard.
The suspect made his way into a neighborhood off Rincon and Webb avenues and ran into a home that police quickly swarmed.
