A suspected child predator was arrested during an undercover operation in Riverside County.
The suspect was identified as Ryan Hagen, 45, of Anaheim, according to the Riverside County Sheriff’s Department.
In April 2025, deputies from the Perris Station began an online undercover operation while posing as a 13-year-old girl.
Over several weeks of online communication with Hagen, deputies said he asked for sexually gratifying pictures and numerous sex acts before agreeing to meet in person.
On April 16, he was located in Redlands and taken into custody. Several communication devices were also found during his arrest and collected as evidence, authorities said.
Hagen was arrested for arranging to meet a minor with the intent of sexual acts, contacting a minor with the intent to commit sexual acts, exhibiting and sending harmful material to a minor, and attempting lewd acts with a minor. He is being held on $55,000 bail.
