Authorities asked the public for help Tuesday in their search for a mother and child who disappeared in the Harbor region of Los Angeles County a week ago.

Jenna Muldrew, 26, and her son Ayden were last seen on the 21000 block of South Main Street in the city of Carson on April 1, according to the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department.

The two were described as “at risk” and family members are concerned about their well-being as Jenna needs daily medication, the Sheriff’s Department said.

No further details about what led up to their disappearance were provided.

Jenna and Ayden Muldrew are seen in an image provided by the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department.

Jenna was described as a Black woman standing 5 feet 5 inches tall and weighing 178 pounds. She has short black hair, blue eyes and was last seen wearing a black sweater and sweatpants.

Ayden has black curly hair and brown eyes.

Anyone with information on their whereabouts was asked to contact the Sheriff’s Department’s Missing Persons Detail at 323-890-5500.

Those who prefer to remain anonymous can call Crime Stoppers at 800-222-8477 or go to the lacrimestoppers.org website.
