MONTGOMERY COUNTY, Md (DC News Now) — Police said they are investigating the deaths of a married couple found in their Chevy Chase home as a murder-suicide.
At about 6:30 p.m. on April 2, the Montgomery County Department of Police (MCPD) responded to a home in the 8500 block of Connecticut Ave., where they found 61-year-old Kate Simoni Fralin and 63-year-old William Scott Fralin suffering from gunshot wounds.
The couple were both pronounced dead. Officers found a gun as well as ammunition nearby.
MCPD said Kate Fralin’s death is being investigated as a homicide, while William Fralin seems to have died by suicide. His official cause and manner of death are pending.
