The California Highway Patrol issued an amber alert on Sunday night for an infant boy who was abducted in Southern California.
In a 10:12 p.m. update, CHP said the amber alert was deactivated as “the subject has been located.” No further information was provided.
Sent out on behalf of the Anaheim Police Department, the emergency alert identified the infant as 9-month-old Leonardo Meza.
CHP said the baby was abducted from Anaheim around 4:45 p.m. on April 6 and was last seen at West Crescent Avenue and North Loara Street.
The suspect at large was identified as 30-year-old Robert Castillo Meza. Officials did not immediately specify whether Robert was the child’s father.

Leonardo is described as a Hispanic male who stands one foot tall and weighs 20 pounds. He has brown hair and brown eyes.
As for the suspect, officials described Robert as a Hispanic male who stands 5 feet and 8 inches tall, weighs 180 pounds and also has brown hair and brown eyes.
“The suspect was last seen driving a tan Mercedes Benz AMG with California license plate number 8HJV603,” read the alert. The car is believed to be a 2003 model.
Officials said to call 911 if you saw the car, Leonardo and/or Robert.
This alert was issued in Los Angeles, Riverside, San Bernardino, Imperial and Orange counties.
