POTOMAC, Md. (DC News Now) — Officials said that a road in Potomac was shut down after a crash on Sunday.
The Montgomery County Fire and Rescue Service (MCFRS) said in a post just before 3:40 p.m. that crews were in the area of River Road and Newbridge Drive for a crash involving a “tree on vehicle.”
MCFRS spokesperson Pete Piringer said in an update that River Road was closed between Newbridge Drive and Persimmon Tree Road.
A tree had fallen down and a car had crashed into the debris.
MCFRS transported one person for treatment.
