A man died on Saturday night after crashing a motorcycle in Fullerton, police said.
Authorities responded to reports of a motorcyclist down at about 10:03 p.m. in the area of North Euclid Street and West Valencia Mesa Drive, according to the Fullerton Police Department.
When officers arrived, they found a man and a gray Harley-Davidson motorcycle on the ground in the northbound lanes of Euclid.
He was pronounced dead at the scene. He’s yet to be identified publicly, pending notification of next of kin.
Investigations revealed that the man was traveling at a high rate of speed. He lost control and struck the curb on the east side of Euclid’s northbound lanes.
No additional details were immediately made available. It’s unknown if alcohol or drug use was a factor in the crash.
