WASHINGTON (DC News Now) — D.C. fire crews responded to a fire at a pizza store in Northeast on Tuesday evening.
In a post on the X platform just before 8:50 p.m., the DC Fire and EMS Department (DCFD) said that firefighters were in the 2400 block of Benning Road NE for a fire.

The fire broke out on the first floor of the building. Photos shared on X show ladders propped up against Rosati’s Pizza and smoke coming from the building.
In an update shortly after 9:10 p.m., DCFD said that most of the fire had been extinguished.
DCFD said that there was no extension to the second floor or neighboring buildings.
No injuries were reported. The fire was fully extinguished by 9:30 p.m.
