A 15-YEAR-OLD girl was “grabbed by two men who tried to drag her into a car” as cops probe a “kidnap attempt.”
The teen had been walking along the road before two men attempted to pull her into a car at 6.55pm on Sunday.
She was able to get away from the two men who tried to wrestle her into the vehicle and after the terrifying abduction attempt she called the police.
Cops were called to Colebrook Road, St Budeaux, and said the young girl was able to escape unharmed.
Devon and Cornwall Police added that enquiries were ongoing and urged anyone with any further information to contact them.
The force said: “Police were called following a report of an attempted kidnap in Plymouth.
“It was reported that at around 6.55pm on Sunday 9 March a female was walking along Colebrook Road, Plymouth, when two males tried to pull her into a car.
“The attempt was unsuccessful and the victim was able to escape unhurt. Enquiries are ongoing.
