PITTSBURGH, Pa. (WKBN) – ESPN’s Adam Schefter is reporting that former Pittsburgh Steelers quarterback Justin Fields has agreed to a free-agent contract with the New York Jets.
It is reportedly a 2-year deal worth $40 million with $30 million guaranteed.
Fields is reunited with his former teammate at Ohio State, wide receiver Garrett Wilson.
Fields appeared in 10 games with Pittsburgh. He finished the season with 1,106 yards, 5 touchdowns and an interception.
The deal will become official when the new NFL league year begins on Wednesday at 4 p.m.
