Police are searching for a suspect after a man was fatally shot outside a Glendale shopping plaza Saturday.
Glendale police responded to reports of gunfire on the 500 block of West Colorado Street at around 3 p.m.
Arriving officers found a man lying on the ground with a gunshot wound. He was transported to the hospital where he was pronounced dead. No suspect was located in the area.

Photos from the scene show the shopping plaza, which included a 7-Eleven, a UPS store and a barber shop, was cordoned off by police tape as emergency vehicles surrounded the parking lot.
The circumstances surrounding the deadly shooting remain unclear.
Homicide detectives are investigating and searching for leads. The victim’s identity was not released pending notification of next of kin.
