The man accused of killing a CalArts student in Newhall last month is in custody, officials said.
Menghan Zhuang, a 23-year-old Chinese national, was found dead on Feb. 4 at a condominium complex in the 21300 block of Nandina Lane. The Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department said Thursday that her alleged killer was arrested last month as well.
Jack Minh Terry, 22, was arrested in Garden Grove on Feb. 16 and charged on Feb. 19 with Zhuang’s murder, officials said in a news release.
Terry was being held without bail at the North County Correctional Facility in Castaic and was due to appear in North Valley Superior Court in San Fernando on March 27.
