Danny Dyer is gearing up for the ‘party of the year’ – his eldest daughter Dani’s wedding day.
But it comes at a cost for the 47-year-old soap star, who got emotional speaking about the big day as he appeared on Heart Radio on Friday morning.
Love Island’s Dani, 28, is marrying West Ham footballer Jarrod Bowen in a lavish ‘traditional’ ceremony later in the spring this year.
Her former EastEnders actor dad – whose known for being quite a tough character – admitted to hosts Amanda Holden and Jamie Theakston that he will ‘sob everywhere’ during their nuptials when the time eventually comes.
When asked about how he’s feeling about the wedding and if he’ll ‘shed a tear or two?’, he confessed: ‘Oh, I’ll be sobbing and snotting everywhere.’
Danny, who is a proud father-of-three, added: ‘I’ve got to try and retain myself, so I don’t look like too much of a mess.’

Danny was also joined by his daughter Sunny (left) as the group posed for a photo together alongside Dani’s fiancé Jarrod at the London premiere of Marching Powder on Tuesday
He also shared how he ‘doesn’t like’ the tradition of ‘giving your daughters away’ as he thinks there’s ‘something odd’ in that.
The actor also revealed his biggest dreams have come true, saying ‘all he wants’ is for his daughters to ‘meet the love of their lives, and she has done that.’
Danny then praised Dani’s future husband Jared, 28, describing him as an ‘incredible’ man.
‘And I’ve said this many times, if you’re going to give your daughter away, give her away to the West Ham captain,’ he joked.
As the big day is fast approaching, it’s all guns blazing.
The TV star said his daughter has been ‘running round like a lunatic’ planning the wedding, but did insist it will be the ‘party of the year’.
Danny was promoting his new film, Marching Powder, as he appeared on the radio show.
Dani and Jarrod have been dating since 2021, and they have twin daughters Summer and Star together.

The reality star also has a son named Santiago from a previous relationship with ex Sammy Kimmence.
She previously starred on Love Island in season four back in 2018, finding love with Jack Fincham, but the pair later split in April 2019.
Dani has a younger sister, Sunnie, and brother, Arty.
Earlier this week, Dani and her fiancé showed their support for her father as they attended the premiere of his latest movie in London.
Danny’s family’s appearance at the event was a proud moment for him as he has spoken openly about the journey of bringing Marching Powder to the big screen.
