WASHINGTON (DC News Now) – For the first time in 16 years, the American University men’s basketball team finished the regular season as co-champions of the Patriot League.
Now, the Eagles get set for the conference tournament, where they received a double-bye and will play their first game in the quarterfinals.
Brandy Flores went one-on-one with graduate forward Matt Rogers, who finished his final regular season as a co-champion and received first-team Patriot League honors.
American will host Lafayette from Bender Arena in the Patriot League tournament quarterfinal on Thursday, March 6th at 7 PM.
