A San Bernardino County man was arrested for alleged child sex crimes.
The suspect was identified as Brandon Gonzalez, 23, from Hesperia, according to the San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Department.
On Feb. 2, Hesperia Police began investigating allegations of pornographic photos that involved Gonzalez and a male juvenile.
During the investigation, authorities discovered Gonzalez had allegedly “enticed the juvenile to send sexually explicit photographs,” officers said.
On March 5, a search warrant was served at Gonzalez’s home where evidence that reportedly confirmed the allegations were found.
He was arrested and booked into the High Desert Detention Center for possession of child pornography, harmful material sent to seduce a minor, and contact with a minor with intent for sex.
No further details, including how Gonzalez was known to the victim, were released. Investigators believe there may be additional victims who have not come forward.
Anyone with information on the case is asked to call Detective E. Oliveros from the Hesperia Police Department at 760-947-1500 or San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Dispatch at 760-956-5001.
