WASHINGTON (DC News Now) — For the second time in less than a week, a pie shop-music venue along H Street in Northeast D.C. reported having their windows smashed on Sunday.
In a social media post, Pie Shop staff said they got their windows replaced after they were busted on Thursday, Feb. 27, only for them to be smashed again three days later, on Sunday, March 2.
“Well…we got our windows replaced…and the loser came back this morning…,” the establishment wrote.
According to police, at around 8:50 a.m. on March 2, officers responded to the 1300 block of H St. NE for a report of destruction of property. The Pie Shop is located along this strip.
At the scene, officers discovered that the establishment’s window was broken. Police did not specify if the two cases are connected or if there are any suspects at this time.
