Knott’s Berry Farm is celebrating the 10th anniversary of its popular Boysenberry Festival with new food items, entertainment, merchandise and more. The festival will run daily from March 28 until April 27.
This year, the food-centric event will feature 80 new savory and sweet boysenberry menu items, such as a French toast stuffed with boysenberry cream cheese, a Thai crunch peanut salad with boysenberry peanut dressing, and boysenberry cheesecake crisp pie.
Returning favorites like the boysenberry elote, boysenberry sausage on a hoagie and boysenberry honey garlic chicken wings will also be available.
Visitors can enjoy all the festival has to offer with a $55 tasting card, available at Knotts.com or the theme park.
In addition to food, local vendors, live music, shows and games all guests can enjoy, here’s what guests can expect from this year’s Boysenberry Festival:
- Boysen Bear’s Pie Kitchen Games & Boysen Bear Pie Eating Contest: Guests are invited to help stop coyote pups, Moxie and Brawny, from stealing all the pies in an all-new game. Once they are done, they can celebrate on the Calico Mine Stage at the pie-eating contest.
- The Great Bank Robbery: An all-new show “that will have the audience cheering the hero and booing the villain” will take place at the Birdcage Theatre.
- Knott’s Preserved: The musical show celebrating the park’s heritage is back for guests to enjoy.
- Old MacDonald’s Barn: This is a tribute to one of the park’s original attractions. Guests can meet farm animals like horses and goats.
- History of the Boysenberry Museum: Guests can learn all about boysenberries at the museum in Town Hall.
- Boysenberry Festival Crafts Fair: Unique boysenberry-inspired artisan products from over two dozen local craft vendors will be displayed.
- Tied Up in Knott’s art show: The fan-favorite art show, celebrating all things boysenberry, will also return to this year’s festival.
