Former Reps. Cori Bush (D-Mo.) and Jamaal Bowman (D-N.Y.) are launching a YouTube show, according to a Thursday post from Bush on her Instagram.
“I’m beyond excited to announce the launch of our brand new monthly show, Bowman and Bush, exclusively on Zeteo!” Bush said in her post, referencing progressive pundit Mehdi Hasan’s media company.
“Tune in as @jamaalbowmanny and I dive deep into what’s really happening in Congress and explore the powerful influence of big money. Get ready for real talk, insider insights, and a look behind the curtain!” the former House member from the Show-Me State added.
Last year, the two former progressive House members lost primaries, with Bush losing to now-Rep. Wesley Bell (D-Mo.) and Bowman losing to now-Rep. George Latimer (D-N.Y.). The two former “Squad” members also dealt with races in which politics surrounding Israel played a notable part.
Pro-Israel special interest groups spent the largest in Bush’s race. Nine million was spent by the American Israel Public Affairs Committee (AIPAC) and its own super PAC, United Democracy Project (UDP) in the toppling of Bush. In Bowman’s race, the pivot dividing him and Latimer was their positions on Israel during its war with Hamas.
“Exciting news from Zeteo! Former Congress/Squad members @coribush & @jamaalbowmanNY will be launching a new monthly YouTube show for us,” Hasan said in a post on the social platform X. “’Bowman and Bush’ will spill the tea on what really goes on inside of Congress & the damage done by big money and special interests.
