Aberdeen Police have arrested a suspect in a fatal shooting Jan. 23 at Washington and Dorsey streets.
Trevor Taylor, 34, of Aberdeen, faces 10 charges in the killing of Travis Davis, 37, including first- and second-degree murder, first-degree assault, reckless endangerment and various weapon-related charges. He is being held at the Harford County Detention Center without bail, according to a news release from the department.
On Jan. 23, shortly after 8:30 p.m., officers checked on a person reported to be lying in the middle of the road and found Davis with apparent gunshot wounds. He was pronounced dead at the scene by Emergency Medical Services.
“The apprehension of Trevor Taylor represents a significant step toward ensuring the safety of our community. We hope this arrest brings a measure of justice to those affected by this crime,” wrote Capt. William Reiber, public information officer with Aberdeen Police.
Taylor is scheduled for a preliminary hearing in Harford County District Court in Bel Air on March 3.
