Harry Styles’ ex Taylor Russell beams with happiness as she walks arm-in-arm with a female friend – months after her ‘split’ from One Direction star

Taylor Russell beamed with happiness as she was spotted walking arm-in-arm with a female friend in London on Monday.

The Canadian actress, 30, looked relaxed and content as she strolled with her pal, with her outing coming nine months after her reported split with ex Harry Styles. 

Taylor wrapped up against the chilly weather in a long black funnel neck coat, which she teamed with leather boots and a black and white hat. 

The Lost In Space star finished off her winter ensemble with black leather gloves and a brown crossbody bag.

Meanwhile, her brunette pal kept warm in a navy hooded coat which she wore with pale blue jeans and dark trousers.

The pair beamed and were engaged in deep conversation during the low-key outing in the capital.

Back in May last year it was reported that Harry, 31, and Taylor amicably ended their 14-month relationship following a make-or-break trip to Japan. 

The pair were last seen riding bikes together during an appearance in capital city Tokyo in April. 

Weeks later Russell appeared at the star-studded New York Met Gala without Styles, who remained on the other side of the Atlantic in London. 

Friends have since claimed the couple opted to end the relationship after spending time together in the far east. 

A source told The Sun: ‘Harry and Taylor have ended their relationship. They went through a rough patch after their trip to Japan and are taking some time apart.

‘He’s been in America and she’s been in London. They made a lovely couple and it was obvious Taylor made Harry happy.

‘Things have become strained recently though and they’ve taken some time out.’ 

The reported split comes after a ‘besotted’ Styles was said to be ready to start a family with the Canadian actress.

Speaking in March, a source told MailOnline: ‘Harry feels as if he has lived ten lifetimes already, but one thing is certain – his 30s will be nothing like his 20s. 

‘He has experienced all the fame anyone could ever want. He is now ready for the next chapter. 

‘He is in love with Taylor. He wants a family with her and this is the next phase of his life.’

In June 2023, the singer and actress were spotted together for the first time – three months after they were believed to have started their romance.

Styles notably was promoting Don’t Worry Darling, while Russell celebrated the premiere of Bones And All.

The Grammy winner previously dated Olivia Wilde from January 2021 until their split the following year in November 2022.
