Following a bravura four-night stand at Melbourne‘s Rod Laver Arena, Canadian rapper Drake has brought the party to Sydney.
The One Dance hitmaker, 38, is currently in the middle of his Anita Max Win Australia tour and was spotted touching down in Sydney on Friday.
It was the first time Drake has been seen in public and off-stage since he was unceremoniously dissed by rival Kendrick Lamar during his recent Super Bowl halftime performance.
Drake touched down in his impressive Boeing 767, affectionately named ‘Air Drake.’
The massive aircraft, valued at US$185million (AU$297million), was gifted to Drake in 2019 by Cargojet.
Despite arriving in ostentatious style, Drake cut a very casual figure as he disembarked the plane.

The rapper was dressed for ultimate comfort on the hour-and-a-half flight from Melbourne.
He wore a light grey hooded sweatshirt with the hood over his head, almost obscuring his face.
He kept the casual theme going with a matching pair of sweatpants and a pair of white sneakers.
Exiting the plane alone, Drake was escorted by airport staff into a waiting black van.
Drake will kick off the Sydney run of his Anita Max Win Tour at Qudos Bank Arena on Sunday, February 16.
He will play five Sydney shows before heading to Brisbane for three shows, then returning to Sydney on March 7 to round out the tour.
It comes after Kendrick Lamar’s Super Bowl performance was branded the ‘worst halftime show ever’ by fans – a feat that was celebrated by his rap rival Drake, insiders claim.
Toronto-born Drake and multi Grammy winner Lamar have been embroiled in a furious rivalry for years.

Drake had desperately tried to prevent Lamar, 37, from performing his scathing diss track Not Like Us.
He had reportedly banned his close friends from watching the set and refused to talk about it.
But despite his failure to veto the track, he was ‘happy’ that viewers tuning in at home were less than impressed by Lamar’s performance.
‘Drake put his friends on a Super Bowl ban and did not tune into the show,’ an insider told DailyMail.com.
‘He was not able to stop Not Like Us from being played and wasn’t happy about it.
The insider continued: ‘He knows it resonated with Kendrick’s target audience who have basically exiled him.
‘But he is happy that people weren’t impressed by Kendrick’s performance and is feeling better about his chances of a comeback – even if he does feel that he has lost some of his core fans.’
While Drake continues to stay silent on Kendrick’s Super Bowl antics, he has gone into overdrive on social media with a staggering amount of posts.

Following the Super Bowl ‘diss’, Drake surprised one fan with an impromptu gender reveal during his penultimate Melbourne show.
The God’s Plan hitmaker was on stage at Melbourne’s Rod Laver Arena on Wednesday night when he singled out concertgoer Sally Soumaya for some special attention.
Sally shared a video to TikTok on Thursday that showed Drake revealing the gender of mum-to-be Sally’s impending newborn.
‘It says right here that it indicates that the fetus is a mini Drake,’ he said, revealing that the mum-to be was going to have a baby boy.
If that wasn’t enough, the magnanimous musician also revealed that he would be giving the new mum quite a financial head-start.
‘Sally’s having a boy and Sally’s getting $50,000 from me,’ Drake added to rapturous applause from the crowd.
Captioning the video, Sally revealed that the experience would live long in her memory.
‘I will never recover from this! Drake does my baby’s gender reveal,’ she wrote.
