GREENBELT, Md. (DC News Now) — Greenbelt police officers were on the scene of a pedestrian crash early Thursday morning.
Details are limited; however, in a post on X just before 2 a.m., the Greenbelt Police Department said a vehicle struck a person on Greenbelt Road, near the Greenbelt Center.
For over an hour, Greenbelt Road was closed from the entrance of the shopping center to Southway Road as first responders worked on the scene.
Currently, the extent of the pedestrian’s injuries is unknown, and it is unclear if the driver was injured.
