LOS ANGELES (KTLA) – The biggest names in music will come together Thursday night for an unprecedented broadcast and streaming event, FireAid, to support Los Angeles’ recovery from the recent wildfires.
The benefit concert will take place on two stages, one at Inglewood’s Intuit Dome and the other at Kia Forum, and feature live performances from Billie Eilish, Lady Gaga, Olivia Rodrigo, Green Day, Stevie Wonder, Peso Pluma, Red Hot Chili Peppers, No Doubt, P!nk, Jelly Roll, Katy Perry, Rod Stewart, and many others.
KTLA is the exclusive local partner for FireAid in the Los Angeles market. The event will stream live on the free KTLA+ app for Roku, Fire TV, Apple TV and Samsung smart TVs, and KTLA.com starting at 7 p.m. Thursday.
It will also be available on Apple Music, DIRECTV, Max, Meta, Netflix, YouTube, iHeartRadio, Amazon Prime Video, Disney+ and many other streaming services.
The event is being produced by Shelli, Irving and the Azoff family in collaboration with Live Nation and the Los Angeles Clippers. Clippers owner Steve Ballmer and his wife, Connie, will match every pledge made during the broadcast, organizers said.
Donations can be made at FIREAIDLA.ORG.
More than 16,000 structures, many of them homes, were reduced to ash when the Eaton and Palisades wildfires burned through Pacific Palisades, Malibu, Altadena and Pasadena earlier this month. Damage estimates are in the hundreds of billions of dollars.
At least 28 people lost their lives.
“FireAid is more than a concert—it’s a call to action, uniting artists, audiences, and communities in the fight to combat and recover from the devastation caused by wildfires,” the event’s organizers said.
Corporate partners include Kaiser Permanente, Scopely, American Express, AT&T, Capital Group, Netflix and Snap.
