Officials and family members are seeking the public’s help to bring home a critically missing teenager who was last seen early Friday morning in East Los Angeles.
The Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department described Max Morales as a 13-year-old Hispanic boy with black hair and dark eyes who stands 5 feet and 3 inches tall, and weighs about 120 pounds.
Loved ones are concerned for Morales’ well-being as he is “a first time runaway and has no possible destination,” according to LASD.
The department said Morales was last seen around 4 a.m. on Jan. 24 on the 4200 block of Dennison Street.
Details are limited, and LASD did not immediately say whether Morales was alone or on foot when he was last seen. However, officials did say that Morales had his hair slicked back and was wearing a black shirt and blue jeans.
Officials encouraged anyone with information about Morales and/or his possible whereabouts to contact East Los Angeles Sheriff’s Station at 323-264-4151.
