Nicky Buckley has revealed the shocking reason why she was fired from her Perfect Match hosting role.
The TV presenter, 59, hosted the Channel Ten dating show in the early 1990s alongside Greg Evans.
During Monday’s episode of I’m A Celebrity, Nicky claimed she was fired from the role after six months because she wasn’t acting ‘flirty’ enough on camera.
‘My show was called Perfect Match, and then when they brought it back it was Blind Date. That was before I did Sale [of the Century],’ Nicky explained.
‘And after six months only…I got the sack. They wanted me to come out all giggly and flirty and I’d go “Yeah sure” but I didn’t want to look like a bimbo.’
Fellow campmate Dave Hughes asked Nicky if she felt relieved to be off the show.
