An investigation is underway into a shooting in Long Beach that left one man dead and two others injured.
According to the Long Beach Police Department, officers were dispatched to the 6800 block of Coachella Avenue regarding a shots fired call around 9:15 p.m. Saturday.
Upon arriving on scene, officers located three men with gunshot wounds. All three men were transported to area hospitals, where one of them died, police said.
He was identified as Tyrant Otee Walker, 55, of Compton.
“The second victim remains in critical but stable condition, and the third victim was treated at a hospital and released,” LBPD stated in a press release.
The incident is being investigated as possibly gang-related, police added. No information on a possible suspect or suspects was released.
