KENSINGTON, Md. (DC News Now) — Montgomery County police are investigating a shooting Monday evening.
The Montgomery County Department of Police (MCPD) said officers responded to the 3900 block of Franklin Street for a shooting at around 5:40 p.m. There, officers found a man who had been shot.
He died there.
MCPD said one man was taken into custody.
The victim’s body was taken to the Office of the Chief Medical Examiner in Baltimore where an autopsy will be performed.
