WASHINGTON (DC News Now) — The Metropolitan Police Department (MPD) said two people were arrested and charged after attacking a person with a bottle in Navy Yard on New Year’s Eve.
Police said that on Dec. 31, at about 10 p.m., two suspects went up to the victim in the unit block of M Street and attacked them with a bottle.
The victim was transported to the hospital to be treated for non-life-threatening injuries.
Delvin Martin, 47, and Kenny Watkins, 57, of Southeast, D.C., were arrested and charged with Assault with a Dangerous Weapon (Bottle).
